Michael Schumacher is known as the world's no. 1 formula 1 driver. His talent was discovered at his young age only. He learns to drive at the age of 4 and by the age of 6 he was the champion. A great formula 1 racer Michael Schumacher was born on 3rd January 1969 in Hurth Hermulheim, Cologne, West Germany. His family members are father Rolf and mother Elizabeth and brother Ralf who is also a F1 driver. Michael learned driving when he was just of four and half years old. He used homemade karts which were made by his father Rolf Schumacher in Karpen at his home town.
Rolf's register the kart made by him in Karpen as Kart-Club Kerpen-Horrem. Michael and his brother Ralf spends their every free minute there only. But Michael was to young to get the license he has to wait until 1983. In 1984 he became a German junior champion and again in 1985 he won the German junior championship.
At is very first time in 1986 he took part in the German Senior Kart Championship and European Senior Championship and came third in both of the final rankings. In 1987 he won both the German and the European Senior Kart Championships.
In 1988, Michael Schumacher signed a contract with the Euphra Formula Ford team. Showing his great talent he won nine races out of ten. This will lead him towards the glory of the championship. At the end of 1988 during the Formula Ford race on the rain-soaked Salzburg ring he came at the 1st position from the 7th position in just one lap. Weber invited him to join his WTS Formula 3 team. In the first season of formula 3 Michael Schumacher won races and finished the championships in third place, after Heinz-Harald Frentzen.
In 1996 Michael Schumacher signed contract with Ferrari team and won the world's championship title for them. After that he gained more championship titles, wins, and points than any other Formula 1 driver. But 2005 was the very difficult year for the Schumacher because of his younger brother, Ralf Schumacher after the Monaco Grand Prix.
Besides this Michael Schumacher came at 17th position in the Forbes list of the most powerful celebrities of 2005. And in 2006 he achieved his 66th career pole position at the San Marino GP.

According to Spanish press reporter Michael Schumacher will play a small role in the upcoming movie Asterix at the Olympic Games, together with Real Madrid stars David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane in 2006.
